I'm David. At least, that's the name I was born with; I really have not put in any effort to coming up with a better one. I don't have any pictures of myself that I like, so here's a picture of a bearpack:
I'll have more to say someday, in a more organized fashion. For now, here's an unordered list of things that I consider "irl" (the boundary is porous) that I should write about in more detail someday. If you know me irl you probably know all of these.
- I study math, and used to study electrical engineering/computer science (6-5) at MIT. That's just for the degree though; I care way more about becoming a grade school teacher!
- I really like teddy bears. Probably too much for my own good.
- I sing acapella/choir, perhaps too much. I've always wanted to make music, but I'm very bad at sitting down and trying to make music.
- I'm obsessed with urbanism and sometimes go on strange bus/train/bike journeys just because I can. I really like Seattle (I'd like to live there long-term) despite its imperfect public transit and bike infrastructure, and I don't know why.
